Faro del Cabo nature reserve

From the lighthouse, built in 1858 on the old watchtower of Atalayola formerly built in 1552 and with a range of 16 nautical miles, the views to Alicante and also to the island of Tabarca are simply breathtaking. On clear days and with binoculars you can even see Benidorm. From here you can see the paragliders taking off from the cliffs in nearby Gran Alacant and you can watch them glide through the air. There are no cafes or stores in this area, so be sure to at least take water !
